Priyadarshini Rao’s 'CaravanSerai' collection revealed a vibrant mix of cultures through textiles, hues and silhouettes.
Hand block-printed mulls, beautifully embroidered silks and brocades played a stylish symphony with georgettes and Chanderis.
The colours were kaleidoscopic, with indigo making a firm impact. Tunics, long lean maxis, empire line and panelled piped dresses, wide pants, short blouses, Raja coats over shararas and flared asymmetric tunics perfectly reflected the inspiration in the silhouettes and construction.
Sarees followed the multi colour print theme, but were worn with blouses or cute baby doll tunics. Floral print tail-coat covers over gathered minis added a hint of stylish semi-formal wear.
